Sauvignon Blanc is one of those varietals that I’ve always been a little unsure of. It’s not a wine I typically order out, and I hardly ever purchase it at the grocery store. So, why would I feature this wine varietal on the blog? I’m featuring Sauvignon Blanc because it’s an extremely popular varietal AND I wanted to see if I could find some bottles that I actually liked.
Through my research, I discovered that I LOVE Sancerre. Who knew?! It is now my favorite expression of Sauvignon Blanc. If you’ve never tried a Sancerre before, do it! It’s incredible and it pairs nicely with several different dishes.
Anyways, take a look through this post if you’re wanting some Sauvignon Blanc bottle recommendations and food pairing ideas. It’s a great wine to sip on during the summer months. Cheers!
