After our trip to Italy last year, I quickly became obsessed with Sangiovese and all of the different wines we tried. Sangiovese is easy drinking and pairs nicely with almost any type of food. I love that there are so many different styles of Sangiovese. You can find something a bit lighter in style like a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, or you can find something big and bold like a Brunello di Montalcino.
Take a look through this post if you’re wanting to learn a little more about Sangiovese. I included some high-level information, food pairings and bottle recommendations. Obviously, there is SO MUCH more to learn about Sangiovese, but this is a good starting point if you’ve never tried it before. Cheers!
