You can never go wrong with the classics, am I right? The gin & tonic will always be one of my favorite cocktails because it’s so refreshing and so simple.
I spruced it up a bit by adding a rosemary sprig and juniper berries for garnish. I’d recommend serving it in a wine glass with a stem, as that is how it is traditionally served in many countries. Cheers!
The Classic Gin and Tonic
Ingredients
- 2 oz gin
- 4-5 oz tonic water
- ½ lime
- 1 rosemary sprig, for garnish
- juniper berries, for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a large wine glass with ice.
- Add 2 oz of gin to the glass.
- Fill the rest of the glass with tonic water.
- Squeeze the juice of ½ a lime into the glass.
- Stir the cocktail and garnish with rosemary and juniper berries.
