Overall, I think we got a good amount of use out of the Southwest Companion Pass. I would love to try and earn it again, but it’s pretty challenging to acquire 125,000 points in a calendar year.
The easiest way to earn the companion pass is to sign up for their credit card(s). They no longer allow you to get two personal cards, but you could apply for a personal and a business credit card and get both bonuses. The current bonus for a personal card is 40,000 points and the bonus for the business cards range from 60,000-70,000 points. If you got approved for each card, you could already be at 100,000+ points!
Would y’all ever consider trying to get the Southwest Companion Pass? Or, have you had it before? If you had the companion pass, what would be the first place you would travel to?
