It’s the Monday before Thanksgiving, and I couldn’t be more ready to kickoff the holiday season. While this year may look a little different, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy ourselves!
Personally, being inside more has forced me to get creative and experiment in the kitchen. This past weekend, I was playing around with different cocktail recipes for the holidays, and that’s when I came up with this new drink.
Gin and tonics are one of my favorite cocktails, so I decided to spruce it up a bit for the holidays. It’s so easy to add in festive garnish like pomegranate seeds, cranberries and rosemary. I also added a tiny bit of pomegranate rosemary syrup. This gives the drink a beautiful color and a little extra flavor. One thing I might do next time is add in a little lime juice. I always have a lime with the classic gin and tonic, and I think it would work well in this version as well. Cheers!
