Today, I thought it would be fun to put together a comprehensive list of all the wineries I have visited. I have been really curious as to how many I have been to, and I thought this would be a good way to keep track going forward. For reference, I visited my first winery in May of 2012 right after I graduated college.
I think this list could be a great resource if you are traveling out to wine country sometime soon. I split it out into Napa vs. Sonoma so that it is easier to find what you are looking for.

As of today, I’ve been to 76 wineries! I am probably forgetting a few, but it’s safe to say I’ve drank a lot of wine over the last seven years. We have a couple more trips out to wine country this year, so I think the number will easily increase to 80+ by the end of 2018.
Have y’all been to any wineries on this list? If so, what are some of your favorites? Leave a comment below and let me know which winery I should visit next!

Sooooooo Napa Valley and Sonoma?
What are a few of your favorite?

Hi Susan! I really love Napa and Sonoma both and they each offer a unique experience. Napa is definitely more expensive and probably more crowded. Sonoma is a little more laid back, cheaper, but it is also more spread out than Napa.
For Napa I’d recommend: Nickel & Nickel, Davis Estates (food and wine pairing), Ehlers, Del Dotto and Rombauer. These would all be great options if you like Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
For Sonoma I’d recommend: Dry Creek Vineyard, Jordan, Alexander Valley Vineyards, Silver Oak and Gloria Ferrer
I could recommend all of them, but these one definitely stand out to me!
