I love taking a classic cocktail and putting a unique twist on it. The Whiskey Sour has been around for ages and is a favorite among many cocktail lovers.
I wanted to make a fall version of this cocktail, so I played with the ingredients a bit and added some extra garnish. Instead of using simple syrup, I used maple syrup. I also added some cinnamon on top to give it a little bit of that fall spice we all know and love. And of course, I had to top the cocktail with a beautiful star anise.
This drink is pretty straightforward and can be made in a matter of a few minutes. Cheers!
