Happy Tuesday! Can you believe that we are nearly halfway through September? I don’t know where this year is going, but time is getting away from me! There are so many things I wanted/want to do this year, so I am hoping to have a productive fall.
Earlier this summer, I created a bucket list of things I wanted to do in Houston. Unfortunately, I didn’t accomplish much since we sat by the pool most weekends!
Below is an update of what we actually accomplished on our list.
Summer Bucket List:
Astros Game- Dynamo Game
- St. Arnold’s Brewery
- Check out the Texas-shaped lazy river at the Marriott Marquis
Try 1 new restaurant downtown each month- Eric Church Concert
- We were going to do this last Friday night, but he re-scheduled for the springtime due to Harvey.
- Go hiking (possibly in Huntsville)
- Check out Lake Conroe and possibly rent a boat or jet skis
- Go to a Farmer’s Market
- Eat a snow cone!
I definitely think we can knock a few more activities off the list in the next few weeks. I am hoping we can try a Farmer’s Market or go to St. Arnold’s Brewery soon.
Since fall is just around the corner, I thought I would start fresh and create a fall bucket list. We are actually going to be home until Christmas, so I am feeling more confident about getting to everything on the list!
Fall Bucket List:
- Lone Pint Brewery
- Texas Renaissance Festival
- Build new nightstands for guest bedroom
- Dynamo Game
- Go to a Pumpkin Patch
- Do additional backyard landscaping
- Sangria Saturday at Wild Stallion Vineyards
- St. Arnold’s Brewery
- Perfect my chocolate chip cookie baking
- Hubbell and Hudson Cureight Dinner
- Run a 5K in under 25 minutes
- Go to a College Football Game
Of course, there is always more I want to do, but I think this is a good starting point for some fun activities this fall!
What are you looking forward to this fall? Are there any new and exciting activities going on in Houston that I am missing? Leave a comment down below with more of your ideas!
