I cannot believe tomorrow is July – why is 2017 flying by so fast?! June was a crazy, busy month for us, but full of fun!

I hope you all enjoyed my posts this month – let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see in July! I have a few ideas up my sleeve, but I am always open to more.
We started off the month of June by hosting Kristen and Brett. It was so good to see Kristen – she was my little sister in Chi Omega and I feel like we are similar in so many ways!
Lots of time was spent by the pool and lots of margaritas were drank. Like……A LOT.
I hosted some Junior League ladies one weekend for a little pool party. It was so much fun to hang out with everyone and I loved getting to know everyone a little bit better. Of course, all of my pool parties involve guacamole!
I spent a lot of time downtown with Alex. I got a little stir-crazy working from home all the time, so getting out of the house was just what I needed. We also love trying new restaurants downtown – our favorite place right now is Tiny Boxwoods. Their cocktails are incredible – my favorite is the French 75.
We also made sure to check out an Astros game – they are killing it this year. I hope they can finish the rest of the year strong.
We built another table! But this time, we built it for someone else. It was fun to try our hand at something new – I am so happy with the way it turned out. Maybe we will turn this hobby into a little side business. 🙂
I baked way too many things! I thought I ruined the chocolate chip cookies by adding too much butter, but everyone seems to like them – they will be gone before we know it!
Alex and I went to a five-course wine dinner at Hubbell and Hudson this week and it was amazing. I will have to do another blog post on that soon! I tried lamb for the first time, and it was actually pretty good.
And as always, there was no shortage of happy hours. We made sure to check out Kona last night with my family for the all night happy hour.
Today, we rounded off June with some good ol’ Texas BBQ. It was very tasty! Be sure to check out Corkscrew BBQ in Spring, TX if you ever get a chance.
Anyways, I hope everyone has a great Fourth of July weekend! I am excited for yummy food and a lot of pool time.
