Happy Sunday y’all! It has been a couple of weeks since I have shared a new post (sorry!). Between work and a few other things, life has been busier this month! But it’s all good. A few highlights from this month have been: a work trip to California, joining the Junior League, running, and watching A LOT of football.
We have also been doing a lot of house projects and house organizing. As you probably already know, I am super Type A, so having an organized house is important to me.
One thing that was really dis-organized in our house was our pantry. A few weeks ago, I finally decided that I was going to put an end to this madness and re-organize the entire pantry.
These are some of the before photos.
It actually physically pains me to look at these photos now! Don’t let your pantry get this bad! And don’t keep Halloween candy around for a year.
After a few hours over the course of a few weekends, this project is finally complete! You can definitely knock this out in 3-4 hours or less if you have everything you need. All of the crates I used are from Target, but you can definitely use other stores like Home Goods, Walmart or the Dollar Store!
I thought this Pantry Inventory list was a great idea! I got the idea from another blogger – Blesser House!
I found that cute little wire crate from Target to store all of our recipe books!
Our paper products and reusable bags are much more organized now that we have everything in baskets – hooray!
I don’t think the pantry is perfect, but it is a WHOLE lot better than it used to be!
What I Used:
- Wicker Crates – Target
- Wire Crate – Target
- Wooden Crates – Target
- Canisters – Pottery Barn
- Chalk Pens – Amazon
- Printable on Clipboard – Blesser House Blog
I am so happy that our pantry is finally organized. I already feel like we have way less clutter in this house even though we didn’t get rid of that much! Simple changes can go a long way.
What do you all think of this organized pantry? Do you like the way I organized it? Do you have any other ideas for how to keep a tidy pantry?
Thanks for reading!
