Hey y’all! It is finally time to share our completed outdoor living area. This area has been so much fun to piece together, and I am happy with the way it turned out.
First, I want to share with you some of the before photos. As you will notice in the photos, the area was very boring and the previous owners did not make the best use of the space.
This is what it looked like when we first moved in.
I knew this area had so much potential, so I started to map out a plan of what we wanted. I have always wanted an outdoor kitchen, so that was our first priority. The outdoor grill and kitchen would be the biggest component, so we had to get that done first and fill in the rest of the space around that.
As you can probably tell from the photos, the patio isn’t that big. Typically, people who have an outdoor kitchen or patio have a HUGE space to use. What I have learned through this process is that you DO NOT need a mansion with a huge outdoor space to build the patio of your dreams. It can be done with smaller spaces (as you will see in the photos below).
We worked with Texas Pit Crafters to build our outdoor kitchen, and it was a great experience for us! They were friendly and very timely.
We had them build a simple 8 ft. outdoor kitchen with a granite countertop. We also installed a drawer under the grill and a fridge for drinks! We matched the brick color to the brick of the house.
The counter space is amazing and is great for hosting parties! There is enough room to serve food and drinks.
String lights are always a nice addition to any outdoor patio! Don’t you agree?
All of our outdoor furniture is from Target except for the coffee table. The coffee table is from Bed, Bath and Beyond! The outdoor rug is also from Target. I will include the links to everything at the bottom of this post.
Several of our accent pieces and pillows were purchased from Home Goods.
Obviously, we had to get a BIG Texas star since we live in Texas 🙂
Our Herb Garden was made by hand (we did it!), so I included the link to the build plans below.
Everyone needs a good cocktail book to whip up some great summer drinks!
I LOVE this galvanized “G” that we found at Home Goods. It was the perfect find for us Grivnas 🙂
Every coffee table needs a bit of decor and styling, so I picked up a few knickknacks from my local Home Goods store to throw on the table!
If you can’t tell, I have a new obsession over all things galvanized.
I am obsessed with these end tables I found at Home Goods! We needed a pop of color for our outdoor space, so this was the perfect find.
I love the pillows I found for our outdoor furniture. I found all of these at Pier 1 and Home Goods.
Isn’t this ceramic pot gorgeous?!
