All About Alex

I hardly ever talk about my husband on the blog, so today I wanted to do something different and share some fun facts and information about Alex. I’ve known Alex since 2012 and we’ve been married since October of 2014. He is my favorite person and my best friend. I love that he is so patient, and I appreciate all of his help with the blog. I definitely couldn’t do all of this without him!

10 Facts about Alex:

1. Alex was born and raised in Shoreview, Minnesota. This is a suburb near the twin cities. Both of his parents and older brother, Stephen, still reside in Shoreview.
2. Alex went to college at Vanderbilt where he studied Economics and Spanish. He loved living in Nashville!
3. He studied abroad in Madrid for 6 months and became fluent in Spanish during this time.
4. Alex loves watching soccer and hockey. His favorite soccer team is Real Madrid and his favorite hockey team is the Minnesota Wild.
5. Alex works for Epic, but has changed roles a couple of times. He used to be on their implementation team, but he is now part of their Boost consulting program. He is currently consulting with UNLV and UMC in Las Vegas.
6. He loves a good craft brew, specifically an IPA. I think his favorite IPA is Yellow Rose from Lone Pint. Alex loves visiting all of the fun breweries around Houston.
7. Alex is a great chef and loves to cook! He can make several dishes, but one of my favorites that he makes is the Spanish Tortilla. He picked up most of his cooking skills and knowledge while in Spain.
8. He loves cars and he used to own a yellow mustang. Alex loves going to different car shows and car events around town.
9. Alex is very handy around the house and loves doing projects! He isn’t afraid of tackling something he has never done before.
10. Even though Alex can be really shy and quiet, he is actually really funny! He is quick to think of a funny joke or pun. I love his humor.

I hope you enjoyed learning a little more about Alex! I know I am biased, but I think he is pretty neat. I am very lucky to have met him, and I love our life together.
