2020 Goals
- Write a will.
- Avoid meat 3-4 days a week.
- Try at least one new recipe per month.
- Visit a new wine region in the USA (thinking Finger Lakes).
- Go a weekend trip to the Texas Hill Country.
- Book a trip to France.
- Visit 2 new states.
- Post once a week on the blog.
- Work towards a capsule wardrobe.
- Try at least one new wine varietal.
- Increase my wine knowledge and sign-up to take the WSET courses.
- Learn a new skill.
- Renovate/Redesign our laundry room.
- Read 1 book.
- Drink 100 oz of water every day.
January Goals
- No drinking Monday-Thursday (otherwise known as “Damp January”).
- Be active for at least 60 minutes each day.
- No alcohol purchases unless dining out.
- Try one new restaurant in Houston.
- Use MyFitnessPal to count/track all calories.
2020 Travel Plans
- February – Sonoma Weekend
- Late March/Early April – 2 weeks in Japan
- May – 30th Birthday Weekend in Napa
- June – Sister’s Wedding in Omaha
- August – Brother’s Wedding in Minneapolis
The above trips are firm plans. Other trips that we would like to make happen in 2020 are:
- Weekend in the Finger Lakes
- Weekend in Hill Country
- Visiting 2 new states (possibly Mississippi and Alabama)
- A France trip over Christmas/New Years
We will see if we can make all of these trips happen. If not, that’s fine too because we are trying to stay home a little more this year.
