2019……what a year! We spent exactly 50% of our time on the road traveling to various destinations all over the country and world. It was amazing, and I’m extremely grateful for how much we were able to travel this year. We visited several new wine regions and went back to places we’ve been 20+ times before.
With several trips to Santa Barbara came a new found appreciation and love for Pinot Noir. We also fell in love with Italian wines during our two-week trip to Italy. One of our favorites along the way was the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Give it a try sometime!
We dined at several amazing restaurants including Le Cirque in Las Vegas, SingleThread Farms in Sonoma, and Sushi Bar in Montecito. It’s no lie that we love to travel for food and wine!
Overall, I will look back on 2019 as the year we didn’t hold back. We said YES to all the things, and we were always go go go. We went on all the trips we wanted, we ate all the food, we drank all the wine and we really did it all. I’m so incredibly grateful for this year and all the new things we experienced. My hope for 2020 is to slow down a bit (and be home more) while still making travel a priority in our lives. Cheers to a new year!
