Happy Thursday! We got back from our big Spain trip last night, so we are just now getting back into a routine. I think we are finally unpacked and organized!
I received a TON of questions about where I got my outfits, so I figured I would do a quick post and share all of the details.
In terms of shoes, I basically stuck with 1 pair of wedges for the entire trip – crazy I know! But seriously, these were so comfortable for walking, and I had zero blisters. You need these shoes for this summer. Trust me!
- Day 1 – Loft Dress
- I bought this dress from Loft right when they released their spring collection this year. I think I bought it in late January.
- Day 2 – J. Crew Skirt and Chambray Shirt
- I bought this outfit from J. Crew in the Spring of 2017, but you might be able to find these pieces used on Postmark or eBay.
- Day 3 – Red Dress Boutique
- This maxi dress is gorgeous! There is currently a waitlist, but they will probably restock it.
- Day 4 – Amazon
- Super affordable dress! And comfy.
- Day 5 – Altar’d State Maxi Dress
- They might have sold out of this in the color I am wearing, but they still have a couple of options. I went to the physical store in The Woodlands to buy mine.
- Day 6 – SheIn Dress
- This is the perfect dress for the summer!
- Day 7 – Amazon Cover-Up
- Such a cute and fun summer swimsuit cover-up.
- Day 8 – Target
- I actually hopped into Target the day before we left for Spain and found this cute little wrap dress. I think it will be perfect for the summer!
- Day 9 – Impeccable Pig
- I actually bought this dress from Lily Rain, but they are currently selling it at another boutique!
- Day 10 – Free People
- I’m pretty sure my mom found this for me at Marshalls or something, but they do sell it on other sites. I can’t find one that is currently in stock.
That covers everything I wore while in Spain! Overall, I thought it all worked pretty well with the weather. We did have some abnormally cold temps while in Madrid, but other than that, I was very comfortable! Let me know if you have any other questions or need additional details.
If you are planning a trip to Spain, be sure to check out my 10 Days in Spain blog post. Cheers!

Thank you for wearing appropriate clothing. Just because you’re a tourist doesn’t give you the ok to wear shorts and flip flops. You’re visiting a city not a car wash!

Thank you Barbara! I totally agree. It’s easy enough to throw on a cute dress when traveling around Europe!

Where did you get your cute wedges from ?
Catheryn Grivna says
Hi! They are Clarks brand. I got my pair from DSW, but you can also find them on Amazon at this link here: https://amzn.to/2KTL3fx

What time of year did you visit Spain? We are planning on going this Sept. I love all of your clothes and shoes!
Catheryn Grivna says
Hi Tammy! We visited Spain in late April/early May. It was a little chilly in Madrid when we visited, but I think that was a little unseasonable! The rest of the cities we visited were warm and comfortable! Not too hot or too cold.

Hi there,
I love your list of what to wear when visiting Barcelona. You have some really good ideas, you did a great job. If you are ever back in Barcelona I would love to show you some amazing places to eat in the city. I run a food tour company called Eye on Food Tours drop me a line some time.
all the best,

I miss Spain. Want to go back but can’t because of the pandemic. We’ve been to the very northern region and the very southern region, Madrid, and Barcelona. So much culture. Looking at your pictures makes me miss it even more. 🙁

yes – I miss Spain so much! I would love to get back there someday. I hope we all can soon enough.
