One of my favorite things to do for holiday decor is to decorate and stage our dining table. There is something about a perfectly set dining table that I just love. We actually keep our dining table set year-round.
Since we are going to have a full-house for the Fourth of July, I decided our table needed a fresh, festive look. I first went to Target to see if I could find anything to use. I hit the jackpot with the dollar section at Target! They had these cute little tin cans and small American flags. I wasn’t 100% sure where I was going to go with this, but I knew I would figure out something.
After brainstorming a few ideas, I thought it would be a good idea to stuff the cans with fake flowers and a little bit of gold foil.
I think it turned out great! All it took was a quick Target and Hobby Lobby trip + a couple of hours of piecing it all together. The nice thing is that I will be able to use this for other holidays like Memorial Day!
I have a few of the products linked below. I actually already had the napkins (from World Market) – I leave them on the table year-round.
What do you all think of the tablescape? Do you think it needs more? I didn’t add anything else to the table because I felt like it would be too busy.
